A commercially astute entrepreneur with an appetite for innovation, Tim Chadwick started his career as a Heating & Ventilation Engineer after completing a 5-year indentured apprenticeship. This gave him some of the tools required to move into property maintenance where he swiftly progressed and secured promotions within the Facilities Management (FM) sector.
After spending 20 years in London, Tim moved from London back to his hometown of Scarborough, utilising his transferable skills, to work as General Manager in the family firm, managing the day to day activities and the financial aspects of the business.
In February 2016, he co-founded Genilogic Limited to allow for the continued development of innovative SaaS product CRAMS.
Tim has gained extensive management experience whilst holding various posts from Contracts Manager to Account Director and working for CBRE and EMCOR he was fully responsible in the following:
Statutory, mandatory, H&S compliance, and governance of customer premises.
All aspects of health & safety of his staff and sub-contractors.
Profit & loss accounts and budgets.
Appraisals, disciplinary & grievance procedures.
TUPE & re-structures.
Whilst in the FM role he was responsible for customer contracts such as McKinsey & Co, The British Museum, The National Gallery, 20 x IBM Data Centre Business, The Gherkin, London O2 Arena, Camden Council, as well as some manufacturing and education facilities, which has given him rounded experience.
In his spare time, he is member of a local pool team and he also enjoys walks with his spaniel, Choppa, along the beautiful cliff tops near Scarborough.
